Not really worth upgrading from the PowerMacI have read many posts here about how people are rejoicing in their PowerMac G5 have been, but when I tried it in the store, I do not see what was the biggest thing. My PowerMac is 6 years and most of the time is going very well. After a few days, I have to restart is running fast, but other than that I do not see why a big update MacPro. It has the same chassis as the Apple PowerMac does not change the case every year or two, as PowerMac G4 did. Are you basically spend a fortune to get exactly the same situation. For a premium price, I expect more.
The interior of the housing is very different. Supports up to 4 hard drives instead of 2, but since you can now be 2 terabyte hard drive that you buy a 4 terabyte huge place in the old PowerMac, which is enough for most people. The advantage of the new Mac Pro is that you put in solid-state drive as an option. It 's very expensive, but adds the capacity of 2 terabytes value of SSD.
