Just bought this on an unadvertised Black Friday special for just $478 + tax (local Fry's Electronics). Consists of the newest Intel i5 Core for much better than average performance. Might the 8 gb of Ram memory and Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) can make this a really, very useful machine. It's sufficient hp to deal with most anything you like to throw at it (other than hardcore gaming). Modular design of what Lenovo calls "IdeaCentre" hardware makes it simple to services (a lot of it reminds me from the business-oriented ThinkCentre series of desktop computers from Lenovo). I bought this pc 14 days ago. I personally use computers every day at the job and also have had home computers for years, however i am definitely no professional in it. This pc has been excellent! The set-up really was easy, it's fast, and my children really like the Touch Smart screen and also the different applications for it. Used to do have 1 slight problem initially when i first set up the unit though. Based on the set-up directions, there's a receiver that connects to the USB port that is supposed to receive the signal with the wireless mouse and keyboard. I looked all over the place for that thing and never found it. I completed the set-up process with all the touchscreen display. A while later I switched the mouse and keyboard on, just to see what would happen. Both mouse and also the keyboard work very good, when you purchase this product you my need to keep that in mind. Apart from that my experience has been very good, and i also would recommend this pc.

The G620 2.6ghz is a Soft sand Bridge second gerneration processor - a slight step along from the i3-2100, but is nontheless speedy and quicker than the E6700(3.2gh) or E5800 and even some first generation i3 processors. The PC comes with a few bloat, like lenovo dynamic brightness and eye length monitors - those are simply usefull if you employ a lenovo monitor as well - but these can often be uninstalled manually. Overall a terrific PC, and with leading, you can have the item in a day as well as two.

I bought this out of Amazon for my technology-challenged mother-inside-law and, for the amount, am very happy together with the purchase. She does several things on a laptop: email (via AOL - goodness!), web and work inside Microsoft Office. This laptop handles all of these functions with ease and respectable speed. The machine is definitely quiet and fairly small (thus the "Slimline" name) in order that it can be tucked at a distance on her computer cubical. No complaints, although When i didn't realize until after purchasing that it does Not really come with wireless social networking capability built-in. (Guess I'm spoiled after working with Macs almost all day). Not a huge problem, but I did must purchase an additional Flash Wireless adapter to admittance a network. It may come preloaded with bloatware, and not overly so - I've observed worse. Stripped all of these down, installed Win7 updates and it was all set. Again, can't beat the purchase price. It's not a quickness-demon and she's not really playing "Rage" on this thing anytime soon, but it'll let my mother-in-law read her AOL emails, so I are unable to complain.

I've had this pc for several months today and it is amazing. So far, no complications. The touchscreen is very responsive and accurate. I never used the Hewlett packard software that is mounted, but it serves our purposes well. It Never ever crashes, unless I want to do something stupid, and all program I download from the web works fine, including 32-bit and 64-bit. 


The committed graphics works great pertaining to Adobe After Effects CS5. My older computer systems can barely render this videos. I can also play my AVCHD 100 % HD raw footage via my Panasonic HDCSD9 1080p camcorder.

First off - I bought this on Monday evening - and it was presented Tuesday morning!! 


So a lot, after setting it right up and burning the restoration discs, everything is working smoothly. I like Glass windows 7 - loading my substantial graphics packages was really easy. 


Random thoughts: the common box is HUGE - but I have plenty of space for my desk - and We've heard the larger packing containers are less likely to be able to overheat. It's probably because quiet (or noisy) when my old Compaq counter computer and my former laptops. The "on" plus DVR buttons are huge and easy to find. 


Something new: the keyboard has "floating" keys. To date, very easy to type on - I'm just uneasy how much dust in addition to dog hair will build under the keys? On the other hand, maybe this style regarding keyboard will be better to keep clean? Time will inform. 


There's a flat tray on top of the box, that's supposed to have your "media" things since you download them; and you will find 4 USB ports, together with a mic and speaker interconnection. This is probably nice and a smart thing to do - but since I'm almost not a media whiz; I've decide to put a piece of record over these ports in order that they don't collect dust/doggy hair. The only issue I download is images - and the photo greeting card slots are on the public presence of the box. 


I'm REALLY happy with our purchase!!! 


On edit - just after 2 days of launching big graphics and mapping software programs: I Appreciate this computer!! Have received no problems or errors - Windows 7 makes all nice and intuitive (and also offers some cute functions like the ability so that you can plaster "yellow sticky notices" all over the desktop computer). I have always known as myself as a "Speedbump on the Superhighway" - so for everything to acquire transferred, linked, moved...via my old computer to this particular new one without 1 hiccup, really speaks amounts for how well-fashioned this is.

This is a excellent simple PC. It is targeted to the business market so comes that is at least bloatware on it. 32bit and 64bit Windows 7 professional images (64bit was default). Picture is really old nevertheless, took a couple several hours and 10+ cycles by Windows update to take the machine up so that you can spec. The weakest component is probably the built-in video, but this is just not advertised as a gaming machine. Configured two of those for my wife's educational setting - I bought them to give. Will work great for any simple web and phrase processing needs the fifth grade students have. Even would work great to do as a software industrial engineer - this is more effective than the Lenovo notebook computer I use on an every day basis. 


Computers are now commodities, can't do better than this for $300. Checked out local Walmart and Bestbuy prices and there was some similar eMachine in addition to Compaq computers, but they had lower speced CPU's, hard disk drives, or RAM. Also every one of them came with Windows seven home - school district might want to join these to a site so Professional is far better. The compact size is likewise great and they apparently run very quiet.

Last month when the 3 yr old Hp . p . computer with vista started out crashing & i decided to get another one I originally purchased a great e-machines that acquired 2 GB of Tup & around 512mb of hard disk drive space with a Sempron processor. It proved helpful fine but with all the jobs I do on the computer I was interested in the RAM so When i upgraded to this Acer Aspire with 4GB of RAM & the bigger hard drive with this Intel Pentium processor. We've had it for going on 3 weeks now & Now i am very happy with them. I don't do high of offline gaming, I simply do a lot regarding music with iTunes, a lot of multiple windows open right away, net browsing, online game titles, I sell on auction web sites so I have quite a few picttures to uplaod at the same time. It lives up to the processor & is very rapidly. For a tiny minor tower it sure packs a punch & acts such as a larger tower would. I've got yet to use a CD ROM drive when i just downloaded iTunes earlier this week. It does not consist of MS Works, it may come with a trial of Office but to work with all the features you should purchase Office. When I started this particular machine for the very first time that, it basically installs microsoft windows and asks the individual to personalize it just like you go on.
