The only thing that would make this any better is if it had an on/off switch.
I bought two of them and use them as a back up. When switching between the two I sometimes get anxious of just pulling the power out and plugging it in.

I bought this drive to use for backups, so far it has performed admirably. The form of this drive is great, very unobtrusive. It can easily sit on a desk or workspace without drawing attention to itself. It has a single small LED on the back to indicate disk activity, and I have yet to notice it making any noise. Also, there is no software that tries to install itself, my Seagate wanted to install a manager, but this one has had no such bloatware. This is a quality drive, you can't go wrong with it.

This is a great external hard drive! Lightweight and compact it fits just about anywhere. The only drawback to this drive is that there must be a hidden partition because right out of the box there is only about 930GB of actual free space.
